Everyone needs a staple recipe for quick & no fuss meal. If I haven’t mentioned this before, I often have ground chicken ready for me to use at a moment’s notice. Keeping a couple of packages of ground chicken in your freezer is really key for a busy lifestyle like mine. I am always on the go, home late after work or off running errands on the weekends and don’t often have the chance to put together a gourmet meal prep for the week. This recipe is very easy! Any first time home cook can do this. You only need 2 tools – a large mixing bowl and your hands! Obviously some sort of vessel to cook in as well. In this case we used a George Foreman. It’s too cold to step outside on our balcony to use our BBQ. Yes, we have an Electric BBQ on our balcony in the middle of downtown Toronto. No-Fuss Low Fat Chicken BurgersPrint Recipe
- 400g Lean ground chicken
- 3/4 cup panko crumbs
- 1 whole egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Literally, mix all of the ingredients into one big bowl
Mix really well and form into mini patties (or big burger patties - however you like it)
Grill on the BBQ or pan fry (about 5 minutes per side)
